Trained East Gate Security Personnel, Saulte St. Marie ontario in unarmed restraint techniques and tactics.

Trained members of the Kyoto, Japan Police Department in stick and hand to hand Tactics (1992)

Ongoing training of NMC Police Acadamy Cadets and area Police Officers in unarmed and armed (stick and knife) restraints.



Accomplishments
  • One of the 1st Non Muslim, Non Filipinos To obtain Black Belt rank in the Filipino art of Kuntaw, 1973
  • Brought KUNTAW to the U.S. in 1973 and established the American Maharlika Kuntaw Association
  • Established the first Filipino Martial arts Credit course in the U.S. 1982

  • 1985 - 1990 Can-Am Karate Cicuit overall Black Belt Grand Master and Grand Champion

  • Michigan Territorial Commander Yodansha Kobujitsu Karate Federation (YKKF) 1986
  • One of 4 People chosen by the YKKF and Japanese Karate Association to represent the U.S.
    at the 25th anniversary of the sebukan Dojo in Nobeoka, Japan. Was awarded a medal by
    the Japanese Government for promoting the way of Budo on Japanese national TV.
  • Toured Japan and instructed Filipino Martial Arts to instructors and police personnel in Kyoto,
    Nobeoka, Miazaki, and Tokyo Japan
  • 1994 Nominated to Black Belt Hall Of Fame by Grandmaster Carlito A. Lanada
